WELCOME TO THE MAYER’S WALDHORN IN MÄHRINGEN

FAMILY-RUN, ADVANTAGIOUSLY LOCATED HOTEL BETWEEN REUTLINGEN & TÜBINGEN

Mayer’s Waldhorn is a typically Swabian country inn in the quaint village of Mähringen, which is located halfway between Reutlingen and Tübingen. The Waldhorn is a place with a long tradition and it is located in a beautiful environment with the nature reserve Blaulach in the north and the landscape protection area Ehrenbachtal in the west. Our hotel offers modernly designed rooms and breakfast. Thanks to the exceptional cooking skills of hotel owner Gerhard Mayer, the Waldhorn’s restaurant is well-known even outside the immediate region. The hotel is located in a calm area with a very good infrastructure, making it ideal for travelers on business in the larger Stuttgart area and those on a holiday in the area. The large number of impressive sights, inviting lakes to swim in and interesting museums makes this region a perfect starting point for a stay with the entire family.

WELCOME TO OUR HOTEL WITH A PERSONAL ATMOSPHERE – CENTRALLY LOCATED BETWEEN REUTLINGEN AND TÜBINGEN

The building of the Mayer’s Waldhorn is more than 100 years old. Located in the idyllic village center, the hotel offers insights into the everyday life of a typical Swabian village. When the church bells ring on Sunday and the neighbors meet on the street to talk about the latest news, it almost seems as if time works differently in this village. Our rooms, however, are very modern. The comfortable furniture and tasteful interior design provide our guests with well-deserved relaxation. You can reach many interesting sights and leisure activities within a small radius.

Mähringen is located at the gates of the Swabian Alb known for its pristine nature. Many hiking and biking trails give you the opportunity to get some exercise while at the same time exploring the country and getting to know its people. In the winter time, the snowy hills and valleys of the Alpine Foreland are especially attractive. Visit historic cities, towns and villages, as well as wonderful castles, beautiful monasteries, and churches. Learn more about the history of this lovely region and experience the unique atmosphere first-hand. Both the high density of historic locations and museums and the many world-class events in the greater Stuttgart area are very attractive.
